2021 EU & UK Compliant Tyre Labels
(ENERGY LABELS)
Making 2021 EU & UK labelling simple for Tyre Retailers
New EU & UK Laws are now in place.
How can you ensure your business stays compliant?
The EU introduced a change to the current labelling scheme for tyres for all EU countries and for the UK on 1 May 2021. Also, the market is now closely monitored to ensure that the regulation is enforced throughout the European Union. As a tyre distributor from 1 May 2021, you need to ensure that:
At the point of sale, the newly designed 2021 EU or UK label for the tyres is clearly visible. The product information sheet needs to be accessible (digitally) and provided in printed form upon request. Where the tyre is not physically available in-store or where it is sold online or on a long-distance basis this information needs to be provided digitally.
When you sell a tyre that is part of a batch of one or more identical tyres, the label and the product information sheet needs to be accessible (digitally) and provided upon request.
In visual advertisements or other promotional material, the tyre label information must be shown – digitally or in printed form – whenever a specific tyre type is being promoted or displayed. In a list of products, the respective performance symbols and declared label classes/values alone are sufficient.
About 2021 Label information?
Labels have 5 grades from A to E
Consumers gain insight and awareness into the external noise levels of a tyre, the opportunity for fuel savings and also a tyre's performance in wet weather
Pictograms highlight the tyres performance on snow and ice

Helping you create great tyre websites
Link with our vehicle and fitment data to create amazing customer journeys and help increase website conversions.
Our Vehicle, Tyre and Wheel data is matched against 99% of vehicles in use and can be searched by our VRM (License plate) or Make, Chassis, Model search. We also identify OE (manufacturer) fitted tyre details and OE Options offered at the time of sales; whilst also identifying (if required) homologated tyre provisions for certain vehicle brands.
Working with tyre providers of all size, from small independents through to global retailers, we link our data at trim (rather than the usual chassis) level ensuring only fitments specified for the chosen vehicle model are returned. This ensures that the consumer can easily select the correct tyre required whilst ensuring that their buying journey is efficient, stress-free and compliant; helping you build trust and convert more sales.
For tyre retailers, whether in-store or on-line, this combination of data enables you to create a seamless, compliant and effective order process whilst creating amazing customer journeys.
